KIND Financial, the leader of end-to-end technology and compliance solutions for the cannabis industry, is proud to announce that two business luminaries from very different fields have joined the company’s advisory board. Stormy Simon, the former president of Overstock.com, brings her undeniable expertise in e-commerce, technology and innovation, while Mark Gelnaw, the former COO of Deutsche Bank, offers more than 35 years of experience in financial services, including corporate mergers and capital raising. As advisors to KIND Financial, the two newest board members will join other members in driving growth and capitalizing on the growing demand for compliance and financial solutions within the emerging cannabis industry.
“We are thrilled to welcome Stormy and Mark to our advisory board–their participation is another clear sign that we’re continuing to build credibility in this dynamic industry,” said David Dinenberg, founder and CEO of KIND Financial. “Their expertise and C-level experience in e-commerce and financial services perfectly complements the skills and background of our other board members, and will be instrumental in providing the right guidance. Our common goal is to continue to expand KIND’s product portfolio and offer the most advanced financial and compliance solutions in the cannabis industry.”
With the two new members, the board now has six leaders with industry expertise in state and federal law enforcement, technology, healthcare and entertainment.
